Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage dates back to the mid 1800s when it was known as the “Movement Cure.” It is used to stimulate the circulation of blood and lymph which can aid in the release of toxins and a healthier overall feeling. Using lightly scented oil, the pressure of the massage can be adjusted from a gentle, relaxing touch to a more stimulating muscle-warming one. This full-body massage at our NYC spa may also include light stretching to help loosen specific muscles.
Spa Week Geisha Facial
Shizuka’s Geisha Facial, or “bird poop facials,” makes the porcelain beauty of this Japanese icon accessible to the everyday person. All-natural ingredients, including Japanese Rice Bran and Uguisu no Fun (sterilized Nightingale Droppings), brighten and soften the complexion with their natural enzymes. Spa Week Press Release.
Policies
Shizuka New York City Day Spa requires a minimum 24 hours advance notice for all cancellations. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know and we will be happy to reschedule. Shizuka New York Day Spa provides a complimentary confirmation call 2 days in advance of your appointment, when possible. Same-day cancellations are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service(s). Failure to show up without a cancellation call may result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled service(s).
